Our client is seeking Chief Accountant. This job is based in Ho Chi Minh City. Job Summary: Chief Accountant is in-charge of ensuring the accuracy and compliance to applicable accounting standards, policies and report processes. This is one of the key members and an essential role to the company Job Responsibilities: · Monitor all accounting activities to ensure transactions fully recorded in accordance with accounting principle and prepare all accounting, financial and tax report as required to Region/Group and local authorities. · Responsible of the statutory financial statements, manufacturing accounting and costing activities, accuracy and timeliness of inventory controls and cost controls. · To lead the month end closing, financial reporting and overall control of all financial transactions and accountancy matters. · To coordinate, liaise and maintain a professional and good relationship with external auditor, tax consultants, bankers and local tax authorities. · Ensure taxation compliance and that tax obligations are met in the form and time prescribed. · Mentor and supervise the accounting team’s performance; Utilize teamwork to develop departmental synergy and talent development.
