JOB BRIEF: As project manager you will oversee the planning and execution of projects in the strategic development project portfolio from proposal to handover and post-implementation. Typical projects include ecommerce mobile app, loyalty program, POS upgrade, HRM upgrade and marketing automation platform. The project manager will have a project portfolio coordinator and senior business analysts at their disposal. II. DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION: - Translate business requirements to functional requirements with the aid of business analysts. - Collect and track business requirements. - Plan and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner. - Analyze and propose solutions with the aid of business analysts. - Track project costs in order to meet budget. - Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements. - Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan. - Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress. - Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables. - Define project scope and objectives. - Track project risk and provide risk mitigation plans. - Track project quality. - Monitor progress and adjust as needed. - Design and manage fully traceable UAT rounds. - Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.
