Teacher Recruitment & Training: - Ask for referrals from current teachers and acquaintances - Maintain an active presence in relevant social media groups and professional networks and interact with potential teaching candidates - Advertise open positions to external networks - Facilitate interview process and communicate result to applicant - Recruit new teachers through implementing hiring procedure from screening application CVs, contacting interviewees, making weekly interview and training plans, interviewing based on Company’s recruitment criteria - Prepare job offers for successful candidates - Conduct on-boarding training for new hires (1,5 – 2 hours online group / training) 2. Teaching staff management - Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource databases of all teachers and teaching assistants. - Manage overall teaching quality and provide frequent constructive feedback for teaching development - Evaluate & rank teachers and teaching assistants on a monthly basis; report to the Academic Manager. - Prepare contracts & other required documents - Directly manage and support teachers via email/ hangouts/ system chat (Native and Thai/ Indo). Provide materials supporting teachers and teaching assistants in using virtual classroom learning platforms and delivering lessons to students efficiently. - Manage payroll: Maintain accurate and up-to-date salary, bonus, and benefits of teachers; coordinate with the operation team/ IT team to assist teachers in clarifying issues related to the policy (e.g in-class tech issue/ salary / bonus/etc.); check monthly payroll to ensure that all classes are compensated correctly based on the company’s policy; response to queries about salary from teaching staff. - Write announcement emails if any. - Check Asana & response to cases relating to teachers in charge daily (within 24hrs) 3. Teacher-care lead: - Provide support, guidance & training to the Teacher Care team & new officers - Coordinate with the operation lead to make plans for weekly teacher recruitment (Native; Phil; Thai; Indo; VN) - Submit a monthly report to the manager, CAO, and CEO. - Update teachers’ handbook & training materials/ website - Cross check on adjusted amounts of all cases noted by the Teacher-care team. - Clarify team-members’ concerns. - Support marketing team & curriculum team in finding teachers for voice recording / video shooting projects if any, prepare contracts and submit payment paperwork. - Other tasks may be assigned when needed by the management board. *** WORKING HOUR AND LOCATION - Working hours: Full time, 5.5 days/week (Monday to Friday and half day Saturday), - Location: 5th Floor, Bcons Tower - 4A/167, Nguyen Van Thuong street, ward 25, Binh Thanh district, HCMC Quyền lợi được hưởng - Opportunity to involve in disruptive projects which may change traditional English language teaching methods - Competitive salary: From VND 14,000,000/month to VND 16,000,000/month. - Opportunity to learn and be exposed to new learning technology - Opportunity to become an Academic Manager in 6 months. - Other benefits according to Vietnamese law Yêu cầu kỹ năng - Academic background and qualification: University degree in English Pedagogy or university degree with teaching experience. - Customer-oriented, student-focus mindset, strong leadership skills - At least 2 years in teaching staff recruitment and management. - Advanced communication skills - IELTS 6.5++ or equivalent - Eager to learn, ambitious and energetic, team player - Strong office productivity level & time management ability - Responsible, hard-working and ready to work to meet deadlines - Attention to details is a must
